Apply to Rock Valley College. Your first step is to apply to the college. When applying, select "Transferring to RVC from another college" as your student status. For help, review our getting started steps.
Submit official transcripts. If you are pursuing a degree or certificate at RVC, please contact your former college to have your official transcripts sent to:

Then, submit a transcript evaluation request. You will receive a letter explaining the evaluation process once we have your official transcripts on file. Evaluations may take 4-6 weeks after receipt of all materials.
Meet with an advisor. After we have evaluated your courses, meet with an advisor to see how these apply to your path of study at Rock Valley College and to select your additional RVC courses. From here, you will continue to register for classes and pay for college.
