Dermal fillers are gel-like substances that are injected beneath the skin to restore lost volume, smooth lines and soften creases, or enhance facial contours. The fillers we use are made up of Hyaluronic Acid (HA), which is a natural occurring sugar found in our own skin. HA can also help hydrate the skin, as it is hydrophilic (water loving). HA fillers are also reversible with a medication called Hylenex, which dissolves filler.
